Pizza in a cone is big in Korea

cone pizza, korea

I had never heard of it before today, but apparently, pizza in a cone is a big thing in Seoul Korea. They call it "Cone Pizza." The website is in Korean, but the picture explains it better than any words - the crust is rolled up into a cone shape and all the fillings are inside. I assume this make it much easier and cleaner to eat while on the run - no sauce and cheese slipping off the crust in one gooey mess. Of course, the question is, do they have kimchee pizza?

I'm not sure if it's available in the US, though there are websites that show that KonoPizza is available in Italy and Crispy Cones, with more than just pizza, is trying to get franchise outlets in the New York area.

Sure it looks tasty but realistically, as noted above, its a bit much. This is one ad where I wouldnt mind if they were fibbing and skimped some.
If this is true, I bet its good but probably not too much different had it been in calzone or folded pizza form. Configured differently, same stuff = same taste (1+2=3)=(2+1=3).
