Sushi etiquette guide from Noriko Takiguchi

sushiSlashfood loves sushi, whether we're studying each fish piece-by-piece, calling out for recommendations, answers to that call, or just talking about the wasabi burn. And while we've made our own attempt here to help navigate the sushi bar, Noriko Takiguchi over at Bayosphere has written a fairly detailed guide to sushi etiquette, called Sushi Lesson: How to East Sushi Properly. The guide is divided into eight parts:

  1. Sushi Lesson 1: Read the Signs
  2. Sushi Lesson 2: Some History
  3. Sushi Lesson 3: The Encounter
  4. Sushi Lesson 4: The Order of Sushi Eating
  5. Sushi Lesson 5: Something About Soy Sauce
  6. Sushi Lesson 6: And Wasabi
  7. Sushi Lesson 7: Rice and Sushi
  8. Sushi Lesson 8: What Not to Eat with Sushi
