Play-baking with Cake Mania

cake mania video game It looks like food is space invading the video game world. We've seen a couple of games already: fun games like Diner Dash and Cooking Mama for the Nintendo DS Lite, as well as educational games like Food Force from the UN's World Food Programme.

Cake Mania, previously an online-game, is fresh out of the oven, frosted, boxed, and headed to the PC. The game, called a perfect balance between "fun and educational" in the PC-version will have additional levels.

Something to do while you're waiting for your muffins to cool, I think.

Diner Dash was such a huge hit so the market is flooded with lots of wannbe DD games. There's now a Spong Bob Squarepants Diner Dash, and also Snowy Lunch Rush...both of which I find totally annoying because of the sound effects (and Snowy Lunch has some downright creep characters for customers).

Cake Manie is cute but not quite as fun as DD...and it only has one gameplay mode. It's storyline based, with NO challenge or endless mode.

This is the best game I've played on my computer. I wake up and the first thing I do is play this game. I love Cake Mania.
