I mentioned before that I was at a conference all of last week. One of the things about this expo is that the lines of people waiting to try certain new products are legendary. At one point, I think the wait time for a certain new technology was six hours.
Hmph. Six hours for a video game is nothing to the 55 minutes I had to wait in line for my 4:00 coffee break at Starbucks. I don't even like Starbucks, but as the only cafe available within walking distance, I had no other choice but to stand there, jittery and impatient.
55 minutes to a caffeine deprived caffee junkie feels a lot longer than six hours. Am I crazy?
How long would you wait in line for a cup of coffee?

Yum!

I get my coffee at a convenience store chain in Maryland, Virginia and Delaware called Royal Farms. They use 100% Colombian Supremo beans for their Regular, Decaf, and Dark Roast coffee. I never have to wait in line to get my coffee and I can make it anyway I want. It's cheap too relative to these overpriced status symbol houses.
Great coffee at a great price.
They make my day!

It's only hell for a week or less and then you, your psyche and pocketbook are free of the stuff. Think about it!!

It's to the point now that if I DON'T get my daily quota of coffee, I get a head splitting migraine. So you might say coffee is my addiction and I must feed it or suffer. But I'm perfectly happy this way!

I've found that a cup of organic green tea in morning in the coziness of my own home is much more enjoyable especially when shared with my sweet guy. I'd rather spend the money on something at the craft store that I can enjoy using to create a beautiful work of art.

Contrary to the myth that Starbuck's is too strong, those aren't true coffee drinkers like me, who will confirm, that Star's coffee is bitter, not strong...

If you think Long and HAAAAAARD about it, the average patron at any Starbucks is waiting about 10-15 minutes for each freshly brewed cup of 'joe' to be made and rung up - so stop your griping, or find a different cafe to vent your caffeine jitters at! LONG LIVE STARBUCKS!!!!

If you think about it LONG & HAAAARD, the average Starbucks patron is waiting approximately 10-15 minutes on any given day, and up to 20 minutes during peak times, for their freshly brewed up of 'joe' to be made and rung up for them. So, stop your griping or go jump in your car and find another cafe to vent your caffeine jitters to!! LONG LIVE STARBUCKS!!!

Many times I just can't wait 20 minutes in line for coffee. There's no telling how much business they've lost. I wish someone would compete with them so that we could get a decent cup of coffee without spending 20 minutes.
