Fast food uniforms make Gadling gag

hot dog on a stickSlashfood's sister blog on travel, Gadling, has a great opinion post on fast food (un)fashion. No, we're not talking about haute couture that's been inspired by fast food with French fry prints soda pop shaped dresses, but the actual uniforms that the fast food employees have to wear.

Gadling Blogger Erik Olsen would rather "gag on a Burrito Supreme than ever wear one of those blue, red and yellow outfits" at Hot Dog on a Stick.

I don't know, Erik. You mean those rainbow-colored fez hats minus that tassles don't make you hungry for a corn dog? Besides, it looks like it doesn't have to be red, yellow and blue. Some of the employees are wearing a completely different palettte of blue, green, turqouise and yellow!

I'm sure there is some fast food restaurant out there that's got an uglier outfit.

and red-orange era of Burger King fashion. I'm probably showing my age; it's decades since those
hideous uniforms have burned. I must have worn the garb proudly, I worked at Burger King for eight years;
the longest time I've spent at any job.

Not that I'd know. >_>

al: of course you didn't know that. of course you don't go there to get a smoothie (that's what they make right?) when you're shopping at the mall, to go with your two hot dogs on a stick and one cheese stick. ;)
