IceChewing.com is a forum for people who chew ice. The general tone on the message boards seems to be one of relief and excitement among ice chewers who are all glad to have found each other. There's a board for medical conditions, such as anemia, related to ice chewing, as well as sections for ice chewing stories and recipes. Oddly enough, I didn't see any posts about the dental injuries that are frequently caused by chewing on ice. [Via The Knowledge For Thirst]

Besides that, I chew ice becuase it cools me down when I'm hot, and because of the way it feels. Its nice. It "is" rather addicting.
Sometimes when I get sick and have a high fever, I start chew on ice to bring down my tempreture. It mostly works for me but I also don't recommend it. It might just get worse.
And I am also very sexualy fraustrated most of the time. Obviously sex is not frequent with me. Maybe I need to go to a S.A.A meeting. (Sex Addicts Anonymous).

I was recently told by someone that chewing ice is an indication of sexual frustration.
Interesting.

Anemia can be caused by many medical conditions, so get yourself checked out by a doctor if ice chewing is an obsession. I found out I have celiac disease, which in turn causes vitamin and mineral deficiencies.
