Trader Joe's puts out a different version of their Fearless Flyer, the newsletter that highlights many of their products, for different regions of the country, since often the products they carry will vary by state. This month, the Flyer is the same for all the western states (they're still working on the Eastern Flyer) and it lists the " Top 100 plus 4" favorite items of their tasting panel. I'm not going to type out all the items, especially as they can be seen online, but I am curious to know how many of their favorites are also favorites of yours.
Reading through their list, I saw that I have tried and enjoyed more than 55 of their picks, including supersweet corn, Perlini mozzarella, Greek yogurt with honey and Purple Moon Shiraz . From the list, I'm not a fan of their frozen Old Fashioned Cheesecake, French Market Pink Lemonade or the Carrot Ginger Soup, but there were surprisingly few that I found myself disagreeing with. Head over to the Trader Joe's website and see if you think that their picks are on the money.

Have never missed a shopping spree at Joe+s in San Francisco. Unfortunately I seldom get more than one trip a yeay to California. have been waiting for them to open one in Ft.Lauderdale. I am sure it would be a winner.

WAAAAAAA. I wanna Trader Joe's closer than Chesterfield, MO (4 hours across the state).
We've shopped in them from LA to San Jose to Boston to Indianapolis to Chestefield, MO, and we loves them we do. Especially for really excellent party treats. Next time we're going to be able to indulge is in Anaheim for the LA World Science Fiction Convention in August.
Every time we go into a store we let the manager know we think Kansas City would be a Really Good Market. The last time (In Boston in February) was the first time the manager went, "you know, we're expanding into new communities and yours might in their sights soon!" (it's the first time no one responded with "your market is not big enough." flat out.)
My favorite thing is not on the but it's more because I have Southern tastes, their Praline Pecans are farking sinful! Hmm. maybe it's good they're not here. Then again, I can make a box last forever doling them out to myself one or two at a time.

I too, make Trader Joe's a 'must stop' to stock up, if
we go down to Reno or Southern California. My first Trader Joe's was in Santa Ana, on Main St. Then, a new one was built in Costa Mesa. I was in heaven. We moved to Montana in 1986. Our home here is delightful, on a creek, on 70+ acres. There is NO Trader Joe's. I've heard of one in Spokane, which I do hope to verify one day soon.

I was almost afraid they would leave out wasabi peas but they were after 100.. now I see why they had to add a few more than 100. What about the wasabi cashews. They also left out the pear Gorgonzola pizzas one of the most interesting pizzas I have cooked from the freezer.
