Mixology Monday: Coffee Cocktails

We love food blog events here at Slashfood, and we've just come across another one. Well, it's a food blog event if you're having a liquid lunch, I suppose. It's called Mixology Monday, born out of the mind behind the Cocktail Chronicles blog.

Their first round, they covered the French anise-flavored liqueur pastis. The next "event" is scheduled for Monday, May 8, 2006 and will be coffee. All you have to do is make or review any coffee-based cocktail or spirit and post it on your own blog. Heck, It doesn't even have to be made from a coffee liqueur like Kahlua, it just has to be any coffee-related drink. Some of us here at Slashfood will be participating, so look out for our coffee drinks next, next Monday.With the cold, gray, rainy day here in LA, a steaming hot cup of coffee spiked with Bailey's sure sounds good.
