We already know that Chipotle, the fast food Mexican chain
that was in the same fresh and fast league as Baja Fresh and La Salsa, went public a few months
ago. Don't know what happened since then, but McDonald's one of Chipotle's largest investors with a 69% stake, has
announced
its plans to sell five million more shares of its stock and be completely Chipotle-free by the end of the year.
McDonald's plans to use the funds to buy backs its own stock.
My hopes for a Grilled ChickenMcNugget quesadilla have been dashed.

Hmmmmm, there is a Chipotle about a mile from here, and a McDonald's on the way.
Lunch in 30 minutes. It's a go.

Since they charge you by what meat you get, rather than what item you order, I determined to order the item that weighs the most, and from what I can tell, a stacked burrito bol is the most food you can get for your money at Chipotle. Eat that by scooping it with the chips, and it's like eating half a dozen or more tacos.
