Free Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream April 25

ben and jerry's free ice cream april 25

Companies must feel bad for American taxpayers during the month of April. First there was free coffee every day from Peet's, and now we have a free scoop of ice cream from Ben & Jerry's on Tuesday, April 25, 2006. That's a week from today, so mark the calendars, set the alarm on your PDA. Don't worry, we'll probably remind you next week, too. Free ice cream will be offered in Ben & Jerry's retail stores across the country from noon until 8 PM. It's a good time to try their new flavors like Turtle Soup, Peanut Butter Swirl, and Lemonade Sorbet.

And to think all that work eating Klondike Slim-a-Bears and Skinny Cows is going down the drain.

We had people coming in from all over the world just to get some ice cream. I have to say I am looking forward to free scoop day.. I live in California now..and though its not hard to find a Ben & Jerrys, its much easier to find a "cold stone creamery". I am looking forward to getting back to my roots. haha. To SHARON: the directions to the Factory are as follows... i'll give you directions FROM springfield, VT. Chances are if you know how to get there.. you're good. Get on the I-91 north, then merge to I-89 north towards barre/montpelier. Get off Exit 10( Waterbury/stowe exit) Turn Right at the stop sign. follow the road about a mile..and you'll see the Factory on the left.

I would always tell my daughter not to get the ice cream from Ben or Jerry because they had long hair and when they leaned over to get the ice cream their hair would get very close to the ice cream. UGh.

We were old sad when they sold out to Unilever.

I have one complaint, though, they use to make a Ben & Jerry's Cookie Dough Ice Cream Bar (Popsicle). What happened to it? Is it ever going to come back? I have had my husband drive for miles to get this...now we can never find it at all. Please bring it back!!! I just recently seen were they made a Cookie Dough Ice Cream Cone, but that is just not as good! Please, again I say, bring back the Cookie Dough Ice Cream Bar!!!

B&Js ice cream sells for the same amount as Haagen-Dazs where I shop. Why would anyone pay $4.00 a pint for B&Js ice cream when they could get Haagen-Dazs for the same price? Obviously they only want to contribute to B&Js radical, liberal left wing politics. It just proves once again that liberal leftists can't get anything right, not even ice cream.

I honestly haven't paid attention to the numbers of calories. The reason I buy it is because of the lower fat content for heart healthy reasons rather than fewer calories. But since there's less fat, there most likely are less calories as well. They have quite a few different "light" flavors. So far Light Smores is my favorite and if I didn't know by the label that it's "light", I wouldn't know by the taste. I would prefer a low fat offering rather than just light, but haven't been able to find that with Haagen Dazs. I know Ben & Jerry's has a couple, but I agree that they aren't very tasty. Healthy Choice has some tasty low fat offerings.
