a lot of fast food according to NWQ ATUDY. Tins of cat and dog food are not only good for their health but yours
as well, as they contain less fat, salt and sugar levels than fast food.
Experts compared 30 different human meals with 15 readily available pet foods and declared that Gourmet Gold cat food, with 2.9 grams of fat per 100 grams, was eight times less fatty than pieces of Kentucky Fried Chicken with 23.2 grams of fat per 100 grams. Fat levels were also lower when compared to a McDonald’s Big Mac and a Pizza Hut meal.
It is a UK study that concluded that pet food was healthier under the Food Standards Agency’s new
“traffic light” labelling scheme, than most of the food people eat. Except me - as I don't eat
KFC/McDonalds/Pizza Hut meals - being a food snob and all.

I don't know anything about the scale they used to judge this commercial food. But take into consideration the source of the content of cat/dog food, which is very poor. Plus all the processing then the preservatives and such that are packed into pet foods. I'm not saying convenience foods are any good for you either.
Convenience is likely sending many to their grave early, and our pets too. I can't see a mention of commercial pet food and not comment on this.

Yeah, cat food may be healthier than a Whopper but have you tasted it recently? I can think of lots of things that are healthier than a Whopper but taste like ass. If only I could get someone to pay me to do a study to prove that...

Healthy = low fat - well, actually not that great for the pets. Or at least not for all pets. I have fairly thin cats, and we're constantly struggle with getting enough food into them. Hey, maybe I should start buying them Whoppers.. :)
