Pity Robert Wood. The Scot has a problem: he cooks in his sleep. According to an
article in the Sydney
Morning Herald, Wood routinely sleepwalks, but the real problem comes when he gets into the kitchen and
starts whipping up dishes - and he's not just heating up soup. His wife, Eleanor, has caught him making
omelettes and spaghetti bolognese in his sleep. As expected, the couple is a bit worried that Rob is
gonna burn down the house. "Every night, I have to think, 'Is Rob going to cook?'" says
Eleanor. And no - no mention of Ambien in the piece.

Same thing happened to me when I was taking Ambien. Several times I woke up to find I had cooked something like mac & cheese from scratch during the night but had no memory of it.

I once made a pb&j sandwich in my sleep. All my friends watched in amazement. There was no drinking or sleep drunks involved either, but I do have a history of sleepwalking/talking. :)I'm hoping I make something really good the next time I sleepcook!

I once woke up after a long and irresponsible night of drinking and I found leftovers from the night before that I didn't remember making. Believe it or not, the food I made while blackout-drunk was delicious. Is this the same thing as cooking while sleeping?
