Oh boy, am I sucker for sleek design.
These Magnito salt and pepper shakers designed by Kikkerland out of NYC are absolutely gorgeous. Made of metal and plastic, the curved cones stick to each other magnetically at the base and pull apart to "shake." They might not quite go with my tiny apartment with college room/garage sale decor, but I do love them.
Kikkerland is a manufacturer, so they only sell to trade, but they do have a list of online retailers. They'ge got some other neat kitchen things, too.
