Tell us what you think for a chance at $1000!

You too can be a Ben & Jerry's flavor guru

If you've ever wanted to create your own Ben & Jerry's flavor, now 's your chance. Seems the Vermont-based ice cream maker of such over-the-top classics as Chubby Hubby wants to give its own  flavor gurus a break, hence the "Do Us a Flavor Contest."

Arnold Carbone, Conductor of Bizarre & D and Chief Flavor Guru, urges contestants, "to let loose and get funky in creating the next chunky ice cream." Well, right on Arnie.

The grand prize winner will be dubbed honorary flavor guru and gets an ice cream party featuring their concoction as well as some of it to take home. Aspiring ice cream artisans have until July 31, 2006, to submit flavors. You might want to rethink your creation if you're considering pepperoni pizza with anchovy swirl, they've tried it. For some reason it didn't make the cut.
