The
latest 'must try' cocktails at my local - the Zombie - does exactly what it says on the tin!
The Zombie
- 3/4 shots Light Rum
- 3/4 shots Navy Rum
- 3/4 shots Gold Rum
- ½ shot Apricot Brandy
- ½ shot Orange Curaçao
- 2 ½ shots Orange Juice
- 2 ½ shots Pineapple Juice
- ½ shot Grenadine Syrup
- 1 shot freshly squeezed lime juice
- ½ shot Overproof Rum
Shake the first 9 ingredients with ice and strain into an ice-filled hurricane glass. Float the overproof rum on the surface and garnish with a pineapple wedge. The name Zombie hails form the West African word for snake god as used in voodoo.

If you like this drink, you'd love the Dragonslayer!

That cracked me up. I've had many a zombie because everytime I'm in an Asian restaurant I can't resist ordering one. Nice to know how to make them on my own!
