Nigella's husband hates her cooking

Nigella Lawson, the doyen of the British culinary scene and whose books and recipes you see quoted across the food blogs, appears to be married to a food Philistine. Charles Saatchi can't stand what she serves up!

Lots of newspapers have picked up the 'revelation' this weekend (it must be a quiet news day), but apparently last week she made a prawn dansak, one of her favourite dishes. He ate it all and then said, 'That was horrible.' 'Why did you eat it all?' she asked, 'I was being polite but then I panicked that you'd cook it again'."

Nigella, if you're reconsidering that marriage now, call me. I'll eat anything you serve and like it.

Do we know he just doesn't like that dish or is it her cooking in general he dislikes? He might as well dislike food in general if the latter is true.

Her husband doesn't know how lucky he is. Nigella pretty darned close to the perfect woman. She's over fourty if I'm not mistaken, but she's still a serious hottie.

He's the lucky one? Charles Saatchi - of Saatchi & Saatchi, the award-winning ad agency - is likely a billionaire by now. Sure she's got plenty of her own money, but she'll never have to worry about anything ever again with his wealth.

Of course, money isn't everything.
