I
recently saw an article
on the Drinks Business Review that mentioned the release of an instant yogurt smoothie from a company called Yokit. Up until now, I wasn't familiar with the original Yokit, which
sounds kind of bizarre to me. Basically, it's a powdered yogurt to which you add water. Maybe it's this step in the
directions that weirds me out: "shake vigorously for about 20 sec or until the content feels heavy."
Supposedly it still has the beneficial bacteria that yogurt products are prized for. It also has sugar and some
artificial dyes though. Anyone tried it?Yokit instant yogurt: just add water

I think I'll stick to the real thing too. Check out the company's FAQ page for a laugh. I hope the yogurt is better than their grammar.

niccomm has it right. Whoever wrote that information page is borderline illiterate. How can the person write the word "prebiotics" four times in a row and not realize the word is "probiotics"? Even the link given on their page to a site about it has the word "probiotics" in the URL and their writer doesn't get it!
I had it. It was pretty good. How could you say anything without trying it you stupid communists?
And read this:
Prebiotics are defined as nondigestible food ingredients that may beneficially affect the host by selectively stimulating the growth and/or the activity of a limited number of bacteria in the colon.
I have tried it and found to be great tasting product!
My son loved it! It sort of was science project for him.
It has same nutritional as yogurt and prebiotics - these are dietary fibers that are healthful.
I have this product at my desk and is a better snack than the junk food you buy from vending machines.

I also tried this product and liked it. It by no means should replace regular yogurt. But it's a great idea for something that could be taken on trips or sold in vending machines. It requires no refrigeration and is nutritious.
