Starting today, we're counting down to Valentine's Day with a cookie every day. We'll select the best sweetheart-style cookie recipes from our cookbooks and around the web, and feature one every day, Food Porn-style, here on Slashfood. We'll strive to provide you the recipe and to display our finds in the sweetest possible light. On February 14, we'll ask you to vote for your favorite lovable cookie, the Best of Slashfood's Sweethearts.

If you'd like to offer up a particularly passion-inducing cookie for our collective, just upload your photo to our Flickr pool or make a comment to this post and we'll take a look.
