Steel Fruit Bowl and fruit

I have a rack of food, computer and photography magazines next to mine, plus the wine miscellany book - but I'm pretty certain that this is not the "bowl" they are all referring to. I might have the odd drink while in the bath but its surley not the most hygienic place to eat. Still they do things differently over on their side of the pond.

"Do something about snacks!" our blog-leader commented. Snacks I can do. Bowls of snacks. "Ok!" said I, "I'll do bowl-porn!" I have this lovely steel colored dish I use for fruit. Someone did mention steel or some-such, did they not? Still not sure if this is what they are on about but out comes the camera...

I am wondering if my predilection for writing bowel in place of bowl is operating in reverse...
