D is for Delicious all Day Long at Slashfood

brought to you by the letter dIf you haven't figured it out by now, Slashfood has been cooking and eating up the letter D for our theme day, and we'll continue to do so all day long today!

If you were inspired over the last few days and have some D-licious things to share with us whether you cooked Dover sole, tossed together a salad of daikon and soba, baked date nut muffins, or had a hot dinner date at Delmonico's, let us know with a comment or a tip. We'll be posting a round up of what's around the blogosphere later today, and we'll be hadning out prizes later this week!

D is also for Dragon Eyes: http://www.foodsubs.com/Fruittroex.html#longan

We were determined to get to five D's by hook or by crook. We did, though largely by crook.

Actually we have duck confit and smoked duck quesadillas, a Moroccan-spiced date rice pudding, Diet Dr. Pepper, and a dip (that's only a D when it's called just that. Though one could more accurately call it guacamole).

It was a lot of fun, and the link's at:

Thanks,

Rob
