Lunch with coworkers is a social activity, so don’t resign yourself to eating alone or at your desk
every day. When you go out to casual restaurants for lunch, try to make healthier choices by choosing grilled meats or
vegetables and asking for your sandwiches without mayonnaise. Skip the French fries once in a while and ask for light
dressing on your salad. Cutting back the number of times you go out for lunch, along with making healthier choices
while you are out, can really make a difference to your waistline and your wallet.
I have it on good authority that not only do you generally get more
dressing when you ask for it on the side, but most people eat all their extra dressing. Ask for the salad to be tossed
with less dressing instead. If you are having a salad that includes additional sauce, a barbeque chicken salad, for
example, try having the salad tossed with extra barbeque sauce instead of using additional Ranch dressing.

I save my calories for candy.
