Mustard Museum

mustard museumI should have known that I couldn't do a post about a ketchup emporium without someone bring a mustard museum to my attention. That's right, The Mustard Museum, located in downtown Mount Horeb, Wisconsin, features exhibits on mustard history, mustard medicine, antique mustard pots and their very own mustard college, Poupon U. Of course the site also sells lots of different kinds of mustard. Perhaps my favorite part was an anecdote about the museum's founder, former assistant attorney general for Wisconsin, Barry Levenson. In 1987, Levenson apparently argued the case of Griffin v. Wisconsin in the U.S. Supreme court with a jar of mustard in his pocket.
