Here is gift that absolutely no wine lover should be without. With thanks to Beau at Basic Juice for discovering this marvellous little tool that I could really do with right this minute (as I uncork a hardly-chilled-yet Spanish white to sample).

usb cooler This, ladies and gentleman, is a USB powered beverage chiller. You see, absolutely essential. Unless of course you live in the arctic, are experiencing winter or own a fridge.

You plug it into your computer's USB port and let the cold-plate chill to 7C. I guess it would work for beer and soft drink cans too. It costs... oh, the website doesn't say...
