A recent Ask Metafilter post about pickles yielded a link to a BevNET profile of Golden Pickle Juice. Yep, this is a 16 ounce bottle of dill pickle juice. Plenty of people, myself included, are fond of a little nip from the pickle jar every now and then. I had relatives that used to drink it with seltzer. This, however, is a little excessive. The makers of Golden Pickle Juice tout it as a sports drink as well as a mixer. Currently, their drink recipe of the month is the Golden Yager Blast-- a glass of red bull and pickle juice with a shot of Jagermeister dropped in.
And ladies, Golden Pickle Juice is looking for models with "a love of pickle juice" to be the next "pickle chick."
BevNET gives it half a star, saying it smells like a bio lab during dissections and adds: "The concept is completely silly (it's water, vinegar, a ton of salt, coloring, and flavors -- not thirst quenching) and the taste is horrible."
