Everyone knows that you vote with your dollars, and if you're a conservative ice cream lover, have a look at Star Spangled Ice Cream. The company offers two lines of ice cream: The Sweet Taste of Freedom line, currently available at select 7-Elevens in Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia, and parts of North Carolina and West Virginia, and Ice Cream With a Conservative Flavor, available only online. The former has flavors such as "Fightin' Marine Tough Cookies & Cream" and "Iraqi Road." The latter line includes "Gun Nut" and "I Hate the French Vanilla."
Freedom ain't free, of course, and neither is this ice cream at $11 a pint. Ten percent of proceeds go to area USOs. And, surprise, it's endorsed by The Nuge.
