Launched this week was the first ever web-based Food Network series, Eat This with Dave Lieberman. The show will cover topics from exotic meats to wine to dessert bars. Scheduled to run for 13 episodes, the shows so far have covered Spiced Chocolates, Extreme Cuisine and Holiday Treats and three more shows will debut next week. The series is an expansion of the Food Network’s website FoodTV’s collection of streaming video how-to instructions and cooking tips. The site also features recipes and extra clips from the shows.
Dave Lieberman is a fairly new face on the food network. He works as a professional chef in and around New York when not hosting his show, The Good Deal with Dave Lieberman, which is predicated around the concept that great food doesn’t have to be either difficult or expensive.
