Kobayashi wins again

takeru kobayashiTakeru Kobayashi has done it again. The 132-pound 27-year-old from Japan recently took first place in the 2005 Krystal Square Off World Hamburger Eating Championship in Chattanooga, Tenn. Kobayashi took down 67 of the small burgers in eight minutes. For the majority of that time, he trailed 21-year old Joey Chestnut of San Jose, Calif. Chestnut finished with 62 burgers. This is the closest any American has come to defeating Kobayashi. Sonya “The Black Widow” Thomas finished third with 56 burgers and Bob Shoudt finished fourth with 51.

I know Krystal is the sponsor, but no shortage of chains that offer double cheeseburgers. Who wants to be the "mini-burger" eating champion? They don't eat cocktail weenies at the hot dog competition!
