950 dollar cocktail

ruby Following the $10,000 cake that comes complete with a diamond ring, a Slashfood reader alerted us to the US$950 Red Ruby Cocktail that comes complete, yep you guessed it, with a ruby!

The drink comprises vodka, a cognac/vodka liqueur, pomegranate, orange juice and a splash of champagne. The one-carat ruby is the 'garnish'. According to the TampaBay This Morning they have sold three since launching the drink last month. The Reserve on W Lake Street in Chicago is billed as Chicago's ultra-lounge for swanky, fashion-focused big spenders. Where you find the Slashfood team hanging out on a Friday night!
