Every weekend, the National Association of Manufacturers’ blog hosts videos of “Cool Stuff Being Made.” Past installments have included things like microchips, aluminum and, more recently Halloween candy. This weekend’s video is about chocolate. It’s a 15-minute short (courtesy of the Chocolate Manufacturers Association) tracing the history of chocolate, including its rise among European aristocracy and it’s transition from a popular drink to an even more popular confection. Also, there’s plenty of the always popular factory footage of overwhelmingly huge vats of the stuff in various stages of production.
