The Dalai Lama likes Dundee cake

dundeecake The Scotsman reports that the Dalai Lama is a fan of a traditional Scottish treat, Dundee Cake. The exiled Buddhist leader of Tibet became fond of Dundee cake during a trip to Scotland last year and will be partaking again during his upcoming visit. What is Dundee cake? It's a fruit cake that involves currants and raisins and is garnished with whole almonds. Not my idea of indulgence but the Dalai Lama probably has a much stricter diet than I do.
