And now, a chicken salad recipe from Vincent Price

Vincent PriceOK, this one would have been better on Halloween night, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy horror master Vincent Price's chicken salad anytime of the year. And believe me, I never thought I'd ever type the words "Vincent Price's chicken salad" in the same sentence.

This one comes the cookbook he wrote with his wife Mary (Price was a gourmet cook), A Treasury of Great Recipes, and is posted at the Hungover Gourmet. It's for Curried Chicken Salad, and has more ingredients than you might think: cooked chicken, apple, pineapple, white raisins, dates, chutney, chocolate, coconut, salt, curry powder, canned chicken consomme, mayo, and lettuce!
