Autumn Omakase Free cookbook - that has gotta be a good thing!

'Wing' emailed the slashfood team with a link that eventually led to TastingMenu.com. The site offers a free copy in PDF format of Autumn Omakase by Tatsu Nishino and Hillel Cooperman. 124 pages, 399 photographs that usually sells for $29.95.

The photos are pure food porn and follow each recipe step by step. The dishes include an Oyster, Salmon, Scallop Appetizer, Kampachi Usuzukuri (citrus sushi), Seared Foie Gras, Maguro & Shitake Mushroom with Red Wine Soy Reduction and Plum Wine Fruit Gratin (one page of which pictured below) amongst others.

There is also All About Apples (100 pages, 291 photos) also free by Scott Carsberg and Hillel Cooperman. Equally scrumptious to look at with recipes such as Dungeness Crab wrapped in Red Delicious Apples, Buckeye Apple filled with Foie Gras, Red Cabbage Veloute with Apple Gelee and Apple Soup with Cinnamon Cream.
