Pumpkins are pouring into slashfood from all over the place today! As the day goes on, we'll be posting them up. If you've got pumpkin on your blog, let us know if we've missed you...
Jo, the Passionate Cook puts together little Roast Squash Bites with Pumpkin Seed Pesto
Brian jumps Out of the Frying Pan and into a Trio of Pumpkin Soups - Creamy Curried Pumpkin, Pumpkin Mango, and Pumpkin Sherry.
At Blog Appetit, FJK makes a spicy hot Pumpkin Chili, that can be followed with miniature Pumpkin Pies for dessert. Or the other way around, as I would.
We have a jack-o-lantern at Biancolo that's a little bit schizo like all of us - a bit traditional on one side, a little bit crazy on the other side.
David serves a spiced pumpkin mousse "up" in a martini glass.
The Cardamom Addict remembers the hundred of pounds of pumpkins from her childhood and makes a pumpkin halvah.
If you ask Stephen, "What's for Dinner?" he might say a Jack-Lantern Pumpkin Quiche, or he might just go straight to dessert with a Ginger-Pumpkin Bread Pudding.
Michelle treats us with some pumpkin tacos.
And if you want to stay with Latin flavor, Marc of Mental Masala makes a Baked Pumpkin with Tomato, Tomatilla, Chipotle Salsa.
Ian offers a bit of Thought for Food with a Thai-style Beef and Pumpkin Curry.
That's the first course of pumpkins here at slashfood! Check back for second helpings!

I just added a photo of the beautiful pumpkin soup I made from a beautiful green Marina Di Chioggia pumpkin I got from one of my local farmers. I will do a more thorough entry on pumpkins, but I did participate in the Great Pumpkin Day without even knowing it was a blogger's holiday.
Here is Marina Di Chioggia pumpkin soup with goat cheese.

Ugh. Too much pumpkin. I like pumpkin, but not that good. If you eat enough, you'll. . .
