Zagat.com recently published the latest batch of surveyor quotes that weren’t fit to publish in their guides. “Fairness and our lawyers prohibit us from attributing some of the more colorful surveyor critiques we collect,” the site says. Here are a few gems from the list:
“The staff is as pleasant as a truck driver with hemorrhoids.”
“Apples should be cored before they go into the pie.”
“Makes hunger an attractive alternative.”
“To call the food blech is an insult to blech.”
“Service was slower than geology.”
There’s also the Hall of Fame Outtakes, which include such thoughtful critiques as: “Suffers from delusions of adequacy,” and “They put the salmon in salmonella.”
