I know a lot of our readers here at Slashfood are bloggers with their own food-site and are thus budding photographers. We have photospecific site here in the weblogs empire and a photoshop blog too but I thought this would be of interest to all - how to take the picture to the right - Blueberry Splash.
DPChallenge is a photo competition site but also offers a range of articles entitled How'd They Do That? While I assumed that such splash photos and anything liquid pouring or splashing was made either from silicone or some-such this guy shows the steps and the equipment he used in capturing this excellent shot - using real cream and real blueberries. No photoshop and no digital equipment either but a 30 year old Super 8 Movie camera!

It's meant for graphic and web designers who need high res photos of food arranged and photographed to have maximal salivation arrousing impact. In other words, it's a massive food-porn collection.
