The Periodic Table of Dessert

periodic table of dessert
A few weeks ago, I posted about the table of condiments that periodically go bad.  Recently, I came across The Periodic Table of Dessert.

Designed by Andrew Plotkin, this table is more thoughtfully designed than the condiments, as like dessert elements are actually color coded and aligned in groups. Sweetners such as honey, sugar and corn syrup share a column, as do binding fats such as butter and lard.

There are also diagrams with the molecular (I guess) structure of desserts components like mousse, granita and puff pastry.

I believe the table is also available in poster form.
