Airline food galleries

alitalia pieI would imagine that most of us don’t want to look at airline food any more than we have to. If you’re not most of us, however, there’s Airlinemeals.net, billed as “the world’s first and leading website about nothing but airline food.”

You can browse thousands of snapshots of in-flight meals—like this sliver of pie, courtesy of Alitalia—from hundreds of different airlines. There’s a gallery with photos of crew meals as well as a “behind the scenes of airline catering” section.

Perhaps most entertaining of all is the collection of vintage airline advertisements. The 1968 American Airlines ad is particularly funny.
