Condiment Packet Museum

ketchup packetIn no way seeking to outdo the Moist Towlette Museum (how could I?), I give you The Original Condiment Packet Museum.

To begin, the museum makes clear that it is dedicated to “all packets other than sugar packets.” Not to leave those out, they offer several links, like this one to the Sugar Packet Collector’s Page.

Sure, there’s plenty of ketchup (probably over 100 packets), creamer, and salt and pepper, but what I found really curious was the wide variety of lemon juice packets.

I don’t know that I’ve ever seen one around. Is this predominately for tea drinkers? I know I’ve seen tubs of fresh lemon wedges even at fast food restaurants like Wendy’s. Anybody out there use lemon packets frequently?

I recently saw a packet of powdered "True Lemon" - which was described as "pure crystallized lemon" - I was too frightened to try it, though...
