Vanilla Salt

vanilla salt I have no idea what I would do with it but it definitely goes on my must buy list. Cookbook author and cooking school teacher Didi Davis sells vanilla salt, an tempting concoction of Fleur de sel sea salt and Bourbon vanilla beans. Her suggestions include for using it as seasoning include using it on foods with natural sweetness such as squash, carrots and corn and putting it on French fries or popcorn. Sounds link a nice flavor mashup to me.
