It wouldn't be right if I let this amazing-looking cupcake go without note. Chockylit makes her lip-smacking treat using the chocolate cake recipe from Better Homes & Gardens New Edition, then whips up a chocolate glaze (basically a ganache made of milk chocolate, cream and vanilla) and a coconut-pecan topping that uses evaporated milk as a base. She suggests using the Magnolia Bakery recipe for the cake instead; the BH&G cake was "boring" and looked "insipid." The frosting however? Saved the day. The frosting and topping recipes both mix up in a few minutes and you could be smacking your lips over chocolatey coconuty gooey goodness instead of licking your computer screen.
