Battle of the Babycakes - Leda's Bakeshop

leda's bakeshop, southern califonia, mini cupcakes

Likely tired of hearing about a double debacle with Sprinkles Cupcakes in Beverly Hills, a sassy red vixen hand-delivered a half dozen itty bitty baby cupcakes to my door last night, knowing that I would never go *gasp!* over the hill to the Valley on my own accord just to try Leda’s Bakeshop.

We have mentioned Leda’s here at slashfood before, and the original Sarah G. thought they were just too small to be enjoyable. This Sarah G., on the other hand, found the tiny cakes to be God’s gift to the ADD (Attention Deficit Diner). In one sitting, I tried six different flavors, all for the guilt of only one regular sized cupcake – carrot cake with cinnamon cream cheese frosting (favorite), chocolate with chocolate frosting, kid’s chocolate with chocolate frosting, vanilla passionfruit, vanilla dulce de leche, and black & white.

And the icing on the cake? As opposed to Sprinkles, these not only look good, they actually taste good.
