Yesterday Sarah posted about a Spanish egg-cup collectors site - everyone needs a hobby I guess.
But the article reminded me of these 'cool and trendy' egg cups I ordered online just a few weeks ago. As with many such internet purchases these had remained unused until today; I cannot remember the last time I even had a hard-boiled egg, so why I ordered them is anyone's guess!
The 'cups' are a simple ring of silicone and are actually French in origin. They cost £9.95 for a set of six from The French House - a fine internet shop with a host of kitchen and dining 'stuff' from France.
The eggs in the photo, incidently, are from Old Cotswold Legbar chickens a rare breed that come in lovely pastal shades.
