Too Many Chefs reports on this new kitchen gadget—the pizza fork and slicer. I guess it’s more of a table gadget, actually. At any rate, you get idea: a fork to slice your pizza. Barrett pretty much hits the nail on the head in saying WTF. Is this really necessary? No. Does it even merit existing? Probably not. Should it be blogged? Hell yes.
I do have to admit, that while that pizza doesn’t look too appetizing, it is a nice photo of the gadget.
And yes, very true, a pizza is not a pancake. Mmm, pizza pancakes. Wait, no.

Those aren't new. I've had a few of those for 2-3 years. We got it at a restaurant show.

Regardless of it's utility necessity, I think it's pretty sweet. I think it would especially come in handy to those of us with smaller children that sometimes cannot tear through the crust of a slice, and haven't mastered the art of cutting with a fork.

That slice looks like a thin crust(maybe actually from NYC) new york style pizza, It makes my mouth water looking at it. Being from nyc, I take offense at your, "unnappetizing," comment. You're probably one of those pinapple and ranch on pizza types. Commies.
Also, I agree that that tool is a waste of energy.

I've never had ranch pizza, and I'm not a big fan of pineapple on pizza either. I'm a plain slice, thin crust guy all the way.
