How do we love thee, Flickr? I just counted another way when I discovered this set of recipes from phil_g's mom's files. There are recipes from newspapers, and yellowed clippings from books or newsletters, and adorably typed 3x5 cards. There are recipes for carob cake and challah braid, "oh so good for company dinners!" There's a no-bake cheesecake from "Aunt Cherie?" There's even an adventurous West African chicken peanut soup. As I scrolled through the photos, I felt simultaneously like a voyeur and a treasure hunter. And I'm making these brownies! They sound like my mom's recipe.
