I posted about kid's veggie art from the Kew Horticultural Society Fair in England - and I wasn't that impressed. But when I rounded a corner in an exhibit hall at my local fair last week, I was mesmerized by the mastery of the genre. No, a watermelon isn't technically a vegetable, but please notice the beautifully-sculpted cremini mushrooms and those calla lilies with stamens made of baby corns. I think that's the most masterful use of baby corns ever. This vegetable art is worth, umm, preserving (har! har!).
