
This tasty-looking tidbit comes from the wonderfully-named foodie site Holy Shitake. It's bacon! It's baklava! It's Maple Bak'nlava! As described on the site, it's "buttery layers of salty bacon, sweet maple syrup and crunchy nuts....a breakfast party in your mouth". Wow. I love baklava, especially following a delicious meal of moussaka, but I never would have thought of making a salty-sweet version with bacon. Wonder if I can get Holy Shitake to Fed Ex me a package for a tasting party?
