Today’s Miami Herald features an article comparing the food options of several major airlines that service Miami and Fort Lauderdale. Along with an overview of some of the recent trends in airline food—downsizing of meals, charging for snacks, etc.—the piece also features a tasting panel’s review of several airline offerings. The panel, which included Herald food and travel editors as well as restaurant critics and cookbook authors, favored the fresher and more expensive options from Song airlines. There’s a separate review of their food here. Also featured is this side by side comparison of several of the other airlines’ snacking options.
