After finishing a review of a local Vietnamese restaurant the other night, I decided to see what Pho King was up to. It had been a while since I visited this weblog dedicated to one of the most amazing noodle dishes ever to hit a hubcap-sized bowl. Simply put, pho is rice noodles, fragrant beef broth, various cuts of meat, and garnishes such as fresh herbs, chilis, and lime. It is light, filling, addictive and incredibly soothing. Pho King offers pho lovers a way to share their experiences eating pho, everywhere from Saigon to Biloxi. There also links to resources for Vietnamese cooking, as well as a sound clip of the correct pronunciation of “pho,” which sounds more like “fuh?”
The stuff is obviously a creative tonic, judging by the many posts on Pho King, as well as the name of the restaurant pictured above.
