Ever wanted to help test a cookbook before it got published? Richard Perry is seeking test cooks to help with The Good Home Cookbook which will be published by Collectors Press in Fall 2006. Perry is the publisher of the press which specializes in retro titles and is seeking to make a collection of all classic recipes. Interested cooks can fill out an application online and then they will be assigned a recipe. Every tester gets a contributor's credit in the book and those who test five get a free copy. All of the recipes are tested by a variety of people. You can check out the goods at Perry's blog which includes cooking tips and many of the recipes being tested.[via The Corner Table]
