Maybe you've always wanted to be on a reality tv show but weren't down for eating insects, racing around the world, or spending the summer trapped in a house with a bunch of lunatics. Now there is a series for the aspiring winemaker. A new reality television series called "The Wine Makers" is being shot for PBS. The six-part series will follow five people who will compete for a chance to launch their own wine label. Candidates will be chosen via casting calls at supermarkets and specialty stores as well as through essay contests. The series will be shot in central California and in Australia and should air next spring. [via Fermentations]
